- I hate it, when everything is not perfect the way it is supposed to be.
- I hate it when people can't or won't see my point of view too.
- I hate it when I have the answer and no body cares to listen.
- I hate it when everything could have been easier, but the people around me make it harder.
- I hate unnecessary drama, and do not like being around the people who cause it.
But the messiness of human choice and personality is a part of life too. What if the lesson is
--us learning how to navigate the waters (no matter how calm or turbulent) with some grace
--us developing skills that we never knew we had
--us recognizing and overcoming the vices in our own personalities that we never noticed were present?
What if tough times and difficult people where designed to train, test and teach us how to win no matter the challenge? If we took it as a lesson, maybe we could learn
How to hold our peace,
How to restore the order out of another woman's storm,
How to speak words that penetrate,
How to step back, pray, regroup and move forward, anyway.
How to redesign our own lives, when it doesn't go as planned.
How to use a bevy of weapons on demand,
Because some battles require brute strength and others require a well turned phrase.
But all battles require an element of grace and wisdom in order to win (succeed, grow, overcome) every time, so
dig in, hold on, and ride it out as if you expect it to pass and you have planned to win . . . besides, how do you know, your true character and your real strength, if what you say you are is never tested?
